Hi I’m Ellen de Raad, your wedding videographer, professional chameleon & calming energy

MY STYLE

You probably don’t want your weddingday to feel like you’re in a production.

You want to be there. Fully. Laughing too loud. Crying without worrying who’s watching. Hugging your people for just a second longer.

That’s exactly how I approach your day.

I film in a way that doesn’t interrupt what’s already happening. No heavy directing. No constant posing. Just a calm presence in the background, paying attention to the details you won’t even realize are unfolding.

Because what you’ll care about later isn’t whether everything looked perfect.

It’s how it felt.

I want you to feel genuinely happy I’m there. Not just as your videographer, but as someone who understands when to step in, when to guide you gently, and when to completely fade into the background.

Because you don’t want just anyone present on one of the most personal days of your life. You want someone who gets it.

A familiar energy in a room full of people
who you’ve known you forever.

My journey

I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a wedding videographer. In fact, it happened quite naturally.

Years ago, my partner suggested we document our long-term travels so our family back home could follow along. Little did he know, I’d spend the next year and a half with a camera almost glued to my hand. What started as a simple way to share updates slowly turned into something much bigger.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I don’t just like filming, I love noticing. The way light shifts at the end of the day. The subtle glance between two people that says more than words ever could. The quiet in-between moments that most people overlook.

That trip shaped the way I see things. Not staged. Not forced. Just real. It showed me how powerful it is to preserve not only what happened, but how it actually felt to be there.

Because video doesn’t simply document a moment.
It brings it back.

The movement. The atmosphere. The sound of a voice or a laugh. The kind of details that make a memory feel alive again years later.

And that’s still exactly how I approach a wedding day now.

Love at first wedding

Honestly, I never imagined myself creating wedding films. But everything changed when I filmed my first wedding in 2023.

Somehow, it all just clicked.

Suddenly, all the years of noticing, waiting, and capturing moments naturally had a place. I realized this is exactly what I was meant to do: preserve the little details, the emotions, and the atmosphere that make a wedding uniquely yours.

Being part of someone’s wedding isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to hold space for a day they’ll never get back and make sure it lives on in a way that feels real every single time they press play.

When i’m not filming weddings, i’m …

Whether you’re dreaming of a tropical ceremony, a mountain adventure, or an intimate celebration in a place close to your heart, I’m here to help make it unforgettable, literally.

My favorite couples

I’m drawn to couples who don’t just go through the motions. The ones who are open-minded, spontaneous, and ready for whatever the day brings. Couples who follow their own path, embrace the unexpected, and care more about how it feels than how it looks.

If that sounds like you, we might be a perfect match. I’ll help you capture your day in a way that feels completely authentic. No cheesy poses, no staged moments, just the real, natural flow of your celebration. The laughs, the quiet glances, the energy of everyone around you. All of it preserved so that every time you watch your film, it takes you back exactly to that moment.

Because when the day is over, it’s these memories that stick with you, not the perfection.

So, if you’re ready to plan your adventure and create a film that truly feels like you, let’s chat. I’d love to hear your story.
